With the success of the restaurant, it was only a matter of time before Adamson expanded and opened their bar situated behind the restaurant. The Steak Barn is what it says on the tin. Balgove serve their own steaks, hung on site for no less than 28 days, burgers and sausages made in their own butchery, all cooked in their massive wood-fired BBQ. Tailend is a family run business in the heart of St Andrews offering some of the best fish and chips in town and they certainly know what they are doing as they have been in the business for over four generations. Tailend process 95% of their fish and source everything from local providers. In 2017 the Tailend won the award for best restaurant in Scotland and their restaurant in Dundee has been given the best Fish and Chips Awards 2018.  The Tailend can do your fish which ever way you like it.  In batter, in breadcrumbs or grilled with an option of homemade chips which are gluten free and are blanch fried in beef dripping. If you’re not a fish fan there is no need to panic as The Tailend have a range of burgers, chicken and different salads.
