St Andrews Running Tours

Want to see St Andrews in a different light. Why not try St Andrews Running Tours? Departing from the Taste Café, North St, it is a 5K long run costing £15 for 1 person and £25 for two and a further discount for 3 people. Running 5 days a week, the tour must be booked in advance and you are able to pay in cash on arrival. This is an excellent way to see St Andrews and gather your bearings and you can do it any time of the day making it flexible around the rest of your holiday plans.

St Andrews Ghost Tours

As many of you know St Andrews is the home of golf but that isn’t the only thing. Did you know that the historic, seaside town is homed to……GHOSTS! Based on extensive research, the award-winning walking tours help to showcase extraordinary 1000 years of history. Tours start from 4pm and carry on all the way until 9pm, a perfect time to do a quick ghost tour before dinner. Each tour is 90 minutes long and must be pre-booked due high demand. Not only does it showcase the history of St Andrews, it shows you the sights and the beautiful scenery it has on offer.

Surf School – Blown Away

Situated on West Sands Road, right next to the West Sands it is the perfect place to begin riding the wave. Open all year round from Monday – Friday, it allows you to take to the St Andrews Sea, whenever you like. Blown Away offer many other water-based activities for kids and adults like kayaking, paddle boarding and much more.  To make it even better, they have fully qualified, friendly instructors helping to make your experience in St Andrews as enjoyable as possible.

Elie Chain Walk

One of Scotland’s best kept secrets, Elie Chain Walk requires a desire for adventure, head for heights and a reasonable measure of agility. Situated next to the Elie Golf Course, where parking is available. When taking part in the Elie Chain Walk it is important you wear the correct attire – good gripping shoes for clambering the rocks and a helmet if possible. No dogs or wheel chair users should tackle the walk but for those who are able, it is a great way to explore Elie and its stunning scenery.

St Andrews Museum

In the grounds of Kilburn Park, a beautiful Victorian mansion is homed to the St Andrews museum. The museum is a fabulous way to learn about St Andrews culture and history, helping you to understand St Andrews in every concept. With a new art exhibition brought in every so often you can look at famous artists pieces of work and learn about Scottish Artist culture. Having free entry, complementary Wi-Fi and a café on site it is a wonderful day out for everyone involved.
